Nick and Gabby had a beautiful Vail wedding at Donovan Pavilion over Memorial Day Weekend! Nick and Gabby are great friends of ours and my husband stood beside them as one of Nick’s groomsman! We’ve become close over the year and watching their love story unfold has brought me so much joy! 

Wedding at Donovan Pavilion in Vail Colorado 

Nick and Gabby chose the gorgeous Donovan Pavilion in Vail to get married! The Donovan was the perfect venue to showcase their love for the rugged Colorado mountains with their friends and family who came from across Colorado, California, and Mississippi. Memorial Day weekend in Colorado can bring any kind of weather. You never know what you are going to get! Fortunately, Nick and Gabby were blessed with sunshine and blue skies all weekend!

They started their wedding day by getting ready with their wedding party in Vail Village. They opted not to do a first look, so Nick first saw Gabby as she was walking down the aisle to him. Then surrounded by their closest friends and family at 8,000 feet elevation, they said their vows. 

We took wedding party and bride and groom photos at the venue and along a path next to Gore Creek. Then it was time for the celebration to really begin back at the pavilion! 

Vail Wedding Venue: Donovan Pavilion

The Pavilion was built by and is owned by the Town of Vail. It’s located on the west side of Vail and is right along Gore Creek. Nick and Gabby had their wedding ceremony and reception at Donovan Pavilion, and stayed in Vail Village.  You can find more details about what all the venue provides and their rental rates on their website here! 

Nick and Gabby’s wedding weekend in Vail was so beautiful! It was a joy and an honor to have photographed the wedding of our two sweet friends!
