I had so much fun with Abi and Dan for their snowy Vail Village engagement photos! They are getting married in Vail this fall and came from Dallas for an engagement session in the mountains!

Abi and Dan met while attending Southern Methodist University and were just friends for the first year and a half of knowing each other. Eventually, they started dating and then Dan proposed on 11/11 this past fall! These two were so at ease together during the session and it allowed their true personalities to shine through in photos! They are counting down the days until their wedding and are so excited to get married! 

Engagement Photos in Vail Village 

Abi’s grandparents lived in Beaver Creek, so Vail Valley has always been a special place to her. For their engagement session, we met at a spot by Gore Creek that runs through Vail. Then we made our way into Vail Village for the rest of their session. There are so many great walking paths through Vail Village and near Gore Creek which makes getting around Vail easy. If you want to stay close to Vail for your engagement photos, I have a handful of locations like these ones that I love to use!

Winter Engagement Photos in Colorado

The end of winter worked best for Abi and Dan’s engagement session, so there was still plenty of snow. Vail can be a chilly place for photos during fall, winter, and springtime! Wearing weather-appropriate clothing and layering is so important for staying warm during winter engagement photos! I loved Abi’s neutral-colored sweater with the hearts-so cute for a casual look! 

I loved getting to know Abi and Dan and seeing how in love they are with each other! Their wedding is in Vail at Donovan Pavillion this September and I cannot wait!
